War is traumatic, destructive, wasteful and often pointless and yet we live in a world deeply affected by war. Not only those in the firing line but everyone is affected due to the economic and environmental impact.
While the world should be considering how to address global environmental challenges, world leaders recklessly and unintelligently instigate conflict.
The Ukraine war is showing how amazingly courageous and resilient humans can be. But while a sense of normality is kept partially intact war always casts long shadows.
